General Information regarding website design and SEO

The SEO guy from Essex  has come up with some errors/comments about the code means nothing to me but will to you…not sure if he has been changing the website again.

You’ll see that you have quite a few  mark-up errors, which will be global errors, meaning that it’ll effect every page and product. Now, whilst a few errors will sound a lot and generally is, only a few alterations to the code will have these fixed. And the beauty of them being global errors, is that once you fix them on one page, they’ll be fixed on all the other pages also. Certainly something I would address. Google likes clean code. The cleaner the better, you have to have your house in order if the Queen comes to visit right? Same principal here.

Just to get an overview of the current status of things:
Business Cards
Print-ready Versions with yourself (as per print guidelines) with the Corringham business address
Letterheads
Designed. Do we have a printer yet so we can get the print specifications for this, so I can get the final versions over to you.
Compliment Slips
To be laid out from the Letterhead design. Again can we get the print specs from the chosen printer. And I can fire these across to you.
A6 Flyer
Being designed today (ready by the afternoon). To be Proof Approved and then Print-ready Version to be sent to yourself.
With regards to the email version of this, do you want this to be charged as your 1st promotion within the project brief or as an extra? Also when is this email expected to be sent out, as we need to build it into our work schedule.
Website
The initial build is underway and we will have something to show you next week at the latest
Will send artwork for business cards and A6 post cards and send these to me first please so I can check and send on for print.

I appreciate what you’ve done so far but it doesn’t look like exactly like the attached page. I can’t see the faded ‘wallpaper’ look either side of my photo when I look at the site so it just looks like grey lines either side. Please can the make the wallpaper stronger. Where did the picture frames go? I’m having cards printed to match and the frames aren’t on my site! I am looking at the website from a laptop so I don’t know if I’m missing something. The photographs don’t change when you click on the different pages. I don’t want my photo on every page please. I have uploaded the copy for About us (it was given you under the heading of home page – sorry) but I can’t remember how to put paragraphs in the copy.I am going to an event on Tuesday which is launching this but I will also want to upload and paragraph and photos and link to suppliers on it so you will need to remind me how to do that. How do we attach a blog / news post?

You have all the press clipping on old site for Press section. Clients you have the old ones from old site plus 2 more that I sent you with their photos.
