Website Post Live Checks

All developers putting a website live need to confirm that :

1 You have moved the /new directory to the root directory.

2 The files for the oldsite have been placed in the folder /old and are still viewable

3 The search function has been re-indexed.

4 The .htaccess file is working. redirecting the old pages to the new pages (for redesigns) and broken links redirect to the root page.

5 The links for the contact form and quick-contact forms  failure and success pages have been updated.

6 All  ‘/new’ references have been removed from the links within the site.

7 Email forms working / tested (positive and negative tests) and subject field of the email is correct

8 Link checker reports no broken links.

9 Website tested on all standard browsers and mobile browsers.
